Chef Atul Kochhar's restaurants in Buckinghamshire and beyond have shared their Christmas and New Year's Eve menus and offers for the festive season. Providing unrivalled options for Christmas and New Year's Eve, plus festive lunches and parties, the restaurants' festive menus will ensure you have a very Merry Christmas and a happy start to 2024.

Chef Atul Kochhar said, "Christmas is always one of the busiest periods for hospitality venues, from Christmas Day and New Year's Eve to Christmas parties, lunches between Christmas shopping and beyond, so my restaurant's festive offerings must be world-class, offering something delicious for everybody".

Atul adds, "When visiting my restaurants, the entire experience is massively important, in addition to just the food. Most takeaway options don't deliver the whole experience, but we try to do all we can to make sure your takeaway experiences with us are as good as it gets. Making sure customers get the chance to enjoy the restaurants' sumptuous Indian dishes in the comfort of their own homes is now a huge priority for us, and I hope people will be impressed."

Known for its stunning Pan-Indian food, Vaasu will be open on both Christmas Day and New Year's Eve. On Christmas Day, the restaurant will serve two different menus: a Christmas Day menu (£69 per person) and an evening menu (£55 per person) comprising five courses. From the Christmas Day menu, highlights include the likes of lobster chilli fry with spring onion masala and fresh greens; pan-fried partridge with peppers and chilli; stuffed turkey supreme with root vegetables, pigs in blankets, cranberry sauce and hassle back potatoes; and desserts such as apple pie and chocolate custard, Black Forest Pavlova, and Christmas fruit cake.
On New Year's Eve, two sittings will also be available to book, with an Early Evening New Year's Eve menu (£59 per person) followed by a later New Year's Eve Menu (£79 per person). Full pescatarian, vegetarian and vegan menus are also available for all of the New Year's Eve tasting menus. Tuck into the likes of Amritsari style fried corn; Goan fish curry; roasted ox cheek masala pie with bone marrow curry; and black garlic and cumin tempered baby spinach kofta with roasted tomato and fennel sauce.
A Festive Lunch menu will also be offered in the lead-up to Christmas, priced at £25 per person and comprising three courses. Choose from dishes such as pan-seared scallops with onion chutney and onion bhaji; butter chicken with crispy masala skin; mushroom and pea kofta with creamy tomato sauce; and coconut crème brûlée.

Hawkyns, Amersham, https://hawkynsrestaurant.co.uk
A destination Indian restaurant in the picturesque town of Old Amersham, Hawkyns will also be open on Christmas Day and New Year's Eve. For Christmas Day, a tasting menu will be offered at £90 per person with full vegetarian and vegan options also available. Expect dishes such as spiced guinea fowl croquettes with Caesar salad and plum chutney; free-range roast turkey roulade with traditional garnish; tandoor grilled salmon with citrus dressing; and tandoor grilled tofu with roasted tomato salad. Pairings are also available with the Christmas Day menus (2 Glasses £20, 3 Glasses £30, 4 Glasses £40).
Hawkyn's will be open for two sittings on New Year's Eve, serving an early evening menu (£49 per person) and a later seven-course tasting menu (£79 per person). Full pescatarian, vegetarian and vegan-tasting menus will also be available. Tuck into sumptuous dishes such as spiced broccoli patties with creamy kachumber and berry chutney; pan-seared scallops with celeriac, caviar and kaffir lime moilee; char-grilled wood pigeon breast with chettinad spices, paprika and redcurrant sauce; and chocolate textures to finish. In the lead up to the big day, festive lunch (£23 per person) and festive dinner menus (£32 per person) will also be offered, with choices of samosa chaat with spiced potato, mint, yoghurt and tamarind chutney; langoustine and prawn Malabar curry with spiced potato cakes; and chocolate cheesecake.

Riwaz, Beaconsfield, https://riwazrestaurants.co.uk
Celebrating the culinary history and traditions of India, Riwaz will be open on Christmas Eve. Christmas Day and New Year's Eve. On Christmas Eve, the restaurant will serve a six-course tasting menu, priced at £45 per person, including dishes such as Scottish tandoori salmon with avocado salad and garlic sour cream; Lake District lamb chops with roast root vegetables, brussels sprouts and Chettinad jus; and mulled wine pudding. Christmas will be a memorable occasion priced at £49 per person experience traditional Turkey with all the trimmings and makhani sauce. Riwaz will also serve a New Year's Eve dinner in two sittings. An early bird option will be served until 6 pm (£49 per person), followed by a later sitting (£75 per person), with full vegetarian, vegan and pescatarian options also offered. Tuck into the likes of pan-seared scallops with textures of parsnip; crispy vegetable momo with roasted tomato and spiced garlic chutney; and chocolate and orange mousse to finish.
*Throughout December, the Riwaz festive three-course lunch menu is priced at just £21 per person and the dinner menu is £30 per person.

Sindhu, Marlow, https://sindhurestaurant.co.uk
At the Compleat Angler in Marlow, Sindhu is set to offer an outstanding New Year's Eve menu. An early bird option will be served (£55 per person), followed by a later sitting (£110 per person), including the likes of roasted turbot with pulusu sauce and aloo vepudu; lamb chop varuval with brussels sprouts thoran and Nadar sauce; and Gobi Miriyalu comprising grilled cauliflower and broccoli florets with Malabar sauce. Throughout December (excluding Christmas Day and New Year's Eve) Sindhu will also serve a three-course festive lunch menu for £29 per person. Choose from delicious dishes such as baby corn bezzule with mint thuvayal; turkey tikka with berry chutney, tikka masala sauce and masala aloo mash; or seabass pulimunchi with classic Mangalorean sauce.
