Cheltenham's Imperial Haus Wins Muddy Stilettos Award 2023

Congratulations go to Imperial Haus boutique cocktail bar in Cheltenham which recently won best National Bar at The Muddy Stilettos Awards 2023. It's an independent business that opened in 2021, founded by owner Sophie Wilding, who appeared on the BBC One television show The Apprentice.

It was inspired by her love of cocktails, passion for interior design and the need for traditional service. The venue was recently granted a change of license to allow under-18s in with an adult, allowing families to enjoy the venue together – there's even a specific kids' mocktail menu on offer!

The second floor is available for private hire and events, perfect for wedding celebrations, cocktail-canapé receptions, anniversary and engagement parties and hen dos. There's a dedicated event coordinator on hand to make sure that everything runs smoothly. From custom-made drink menus and hand-crafted cocktails to catering and entertainment, the talented team can customize any event, following any theme.

The venue is already decorated with an enchanting forest theme, which sets the stage for most events. Attention to detail is at the soul of Imperial Haus and every element has been hand-designed and made bespoke by local, independent artists. The interior oozes glamour and luxury with inspiration drawn from Sophie's interests in tarot cards and healing crystals.

The menu welcomes guests, inspired by an enchanted land of magic and fantasy. A wild garden that's home to mythical creatures has inspired the signature folklore cocktail list and the chosen ingredients. Sophie is passionate about using premium ingredients in all recipes, whilst exploring innovative flavours and products. Imperial Haus can house up to 20 guests with seating available for 100 guests. There are flexible hire times available from Monday until Sunday with a DJ and entertainment available, plus air conditioning and AV equipment available on request.
