Luxury eyewear brand Cutler and Gross and rock'n'roll jewellers The Great Frog have joined forces on an exclusive collaboration. Georgia May Jagger – daughter of Mick Jagger and supermodel, Jerry Hall – is the face of the campaign, encapsulating the duality of rock and regality that underpins the collection.
The collection draws inspiration from the 1960s, combining Cutler and Gross's unprecedented craftsmanship with The Great Frog's anarchic signatures. Each frame is embellished with The Great Frog's anarchic iconography in sterling silver.
Creative Director of The Great Frog, Reino Lehtonen-Riley, hand carves the initial emblems and sculpts them into wax. From there, they're shaped into a mould and cast in solid 925 sterling silver by a jeweller in Vicenza. The polished emblems are embedded into the frames, hand-crafted in Italy by expert artisans.
The collection comprises six statement styles, categorised into eight sunglasses, perfect for honeymoons, plus five optical looks. Three styles are gilded with emblems that are cast in sterling silver and plated in gleaming 24-carat gold. These limited-edition frames are available in highly exclusive numbers.
